Privacy Policy & Data Compliance

Last Updated: June 7, 2026

1. Introduction

DEML APP ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our website, read our platform documentation, or interact with our system status services.

We build and maintain our platform with privacy-by-design principles. We ensure that data collection is kept to a minimum and only processed in accordance with global regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

2. Cookie Policy & Preferences

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to analyze site traffic, remember your interface theme preferences, and monitor platform performance. Cookies are small data files stored on your device.

3. GDPR Compliance (EU User Rights)

If you are located in the European Union (EU) or European Economic Area (EEA), you are granted specific rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These include:

  • Right of Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Request deletion of your personal data when no longer needed.
  • Right to Restriction of Processing: Request that we limit how we process your information.
  • Right to Data Portability: Request transmission of your data to another organization in a structured format.

GDPR Data Request Center

Use this form to request an export or permanent deletion of any personal data collected during your sessions. The form opens a pre-addressed message in your email app; sending that message completes the request. You can also emailsupport@dataengineeringformachinelearning.com directly.

4. CCPA/CPRA Compliance (California Rights)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information:

  • Right to Know: Discover what personal information we collect, source, and share.
  • Right to Opt-Out: Direct us to stop selling or sharing your personal information (Note: We do not sell or share any user personal information with third parties).
  • Right to Limit: Restrict the use of sensitive personal information.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: Enjoy equal service and pricing even if you exercise your privacy rights.

5. Security, E2E Encryption & Data Retention

The platform enforces end-to-end encryption. All telemetry payloads, microservice status metrics, and client communications are encrypted using TLS 1.3 / SSL. Furthermore, integrated third-party credentials (such as Google Analytics 4 tokens and Microsoft Clarity API keys) are secured at-rest in our database using transparent AES-256 Fernet-level encryption derived from application secret keys.

Your status pages, services, incidents, and telemetry data are private-by-default and are not shared publicly unless you explicitly approve by toggling the "Publish Status Page" setting. Telemetry logs and historical ML reports are automatically purged from databases 30 days after creation.
