You are effectively renting access to your own users, subjected to algorithmic sorting, aggressive pricing tiers, and the constant risk of platform de-platforming. Precision engineering demands that I maintain absolute control and data portability over my core assets.

To retain uncompromised ownership of my customer data, I engineer a native newsletter subscription pipeline directly within my platform. When a user opts-in via my Angular frontend, the request is routed securely through my Django APIs, utilizing the same rigorous Firebase authentication and JWT validation protocols that protect my machine learning endpoints. The subscription record is then firmly anchored within my primary PostgreSQL database. This ensures that my customer list is governed by my internal backup policies, encrypted by my Google Cloud KMS infrastructure, and instantly available for native integration with my internal data science workflows.

While I insist on owning the data, I recognize that the actual mechanics of email delivery—managing IP reputation, navigating spam filters, and parsing bounce rates—is a specialized domain best handled by dedicated infrastructure. To execute the outbound dispatch, I integrate Resend, a modern, developer-centric email API built for the modern web.
